Processing Dialog
From the "Radio Frequency" menu, take the "Order Verification" option. You will be prompted for a bill of lading number. When automated processes of this type are used for verification, often the pick-sheet or packing list will have the order number bar-coded. Typically, the packaging contains bar-coded product codes as well. This panel was designed to take advantage of those by using a scanner. Once that number is entered, a list of the items on the order and quantity that should be shipping will appear. The following depicts the panel.
Entry fields are displayed to begin scanning the items. A forms entry "ORDSCANEA" is used to determine if each item on the order must be scanned or if the operator can scan one item and key the quantity . As the operator scans the item , the scanning count is updated on the display. If the operator scans or keys more quantity than is supposed to be on the order, a message will appear to let them know they are exceeding the quantity on the order. Lots are not checked during the verification process. Once the last item is scanned, a panel displays to indicate that the order is complete.
The process will write an order confirmation to the move history for each line of the order recording the operators name and the timestamp of the verification process. The operator can press the <Enter> key to verify another order. If they press the <F3> or <F12> they will return to the menu.
